Kosmoceras proniae From the Upper Callovian Stage of the Jurassic period. This pyritised specimen was found in sediments known as the 'Middle Oxford Clay'. It is approximately 160 million years old. It measures nearly 3" (7 cm) across and was found in a clay pit near the town of Milton Keynes, Central England by Neville. |
