Fossil Ammonites:

Kosmoceras spinosum Quenstedtoceras henrici.

These fossil ammonites have been collected from Oxford Clay deposits in the south of England.

The large central spiney ammonite (Kosmoceras spinosum) is surrounded by a number of smaller Quenstedtoceras henrici. These fossils are dated to be from the middle of the Jurassic Period and are estimated to be approximately 160 million years old.

The larger ammonite measures approximately 12 cm across.
